Refund Policy

Refund requests must be submitted in writing to [email protected]

Full-Refund - In the event that an application for a study permit is rejected by Immigration and Citizenship Canada or the student needs to cancel their enrollment prior to the school start date, WECDSB will issue a full refund of tuition, not including the application fee. A letter of explanation must be provided.

One-half - If a student decides to withdraw from the program within the first 30 days of commencement of their program, then WECDSB will provide a refund equivalent to one-half of tuition paid, associated fees (such as medical) will be prorated, not including the application fee. A letter of explanation must be provided.

No refund - will be given if;

the student withdraws after 30 days of commencement of their program
a student is dismissed from the program due to a breach of law, policy or regulation determined by provincial authorities, Citizenship and Immigration Canada and/or Windsor-Essex Catholic District School Board
a student's status in Canada changes after the commencement of their program, there will be no refund of fees

Special Notes

Proof of documentation from the Government of Canada must be provided to the International Education Office for verification if a student alters their status in Canada during their program.
All refunds are issued as per the original method of payment and made out to the original payer
Please allow 6-8 weeks for processing
