Within our elementary schools, the Windsor-Essex Catholic District School Board provides families with access to numerous programs, services, and child care partners. Our goal is to offer a comprehensive range of options, making it easier for families to build the support system that works for them.
Full Day Child Care Programs
Various child care services such as infant, toddler and preschool programs are available at many Windsor-Essex Catholic District School Board schools. All programs are licensed by the provincial government and are operated by third party, non-profit child care providers.

Fees
Child Care programs are offered on a fee for service basis. Fees are determined by the Child Care providers. Fee subsidies are available for many families. For more information on fee subsidies please call the City of Windsor Children's Services (519) 255-5312.
Before and After School Programs (Extend Day Program)
The Windsor-Essex Catholic District School Board recognizes that school based before and after school child care is both required and valued by many families in our Catholic school communities. These programs create a seamless day with fewer transitions and provide more opportunities to learn and grow.
We have partnered with several child care providers to offer quality, licensed child care programs in every one of our schools that have expressed sufficient interest. Before and after school care is available for school aged children, from 4 to 12 years of age. Before and after school programs operate on every instructional school day. Several child care providers also offer programs during school breaks and on professional development (PD) days.
