Officially opened on Oct. 11, 2023, the St. Anne Catholic Skilled Trades and Learning Centre is the home for secondary students planning for an exciting career in the trades.

The centre is located at 12050 Arbour Street, home of the former St. Anne Catholic High School, which moved to its present location in Belle River in 2007.

In addition to utilizing classroom space for instruction purposes, the centre - which is affiliated with the WECDSB's Construction Academies - has rooms devoted to the teaching of carpentry, plumbing, electrical and masonry, with plans to introduce welding in September of 2024.

The centre also includes a lab for teaching computer-aided design (CAD), as well as a simulation lab to help introduce students to non-traditional trades.
