International Languages Program (ILP) - Saturday morning classes

The Windsor-Essex Catholic District School Board offers FREE Saturday morning language classes for elementary students (JK-8), and the communities we serve.

Classes run from Oct. 1, 2022 to June 3, 2023 (excluding the following dates: Oct. 8, Nov. 19, Dec 24, Dec. 31, Jan. 7, Jan. 21, Feb. 18, Mar. 11, Mar. 18, April 8, May 20).  Click here for a printable calendar.

Transportation is the responsibility of parents/guardians.

The following classes are proposed pending registration and enrolment of at least 25 students.

Arabic: Holy Names Catholic High School, 1400 Northwood Street, Windsor, 10 a.m. to 12 p.m.

Croatian: St. Francis Church, 1701 Turner Road, Windsor, 10 a.m. to 12 p.m.

Filipino: Filipino Community Centre, 935 Northwood Street, Windsor, 10 a.m. to 12 p.m.

Hungarian: Holy Names Catholic High School, 1400 Northwood Street, Windsor, 10 a.m. to 12 p.m.

Italian: Ciociaro Club, 3745 North Talbot Street, Windsor, 10 a.m. to 12 p.m.

Polish: Holy Names Catholic High School, 1400 Northwood Street, Windsor, 10 a.m. to 12 p.m.

Portuguese: Holy Names Catholic High School, 1400 Northwood Street, Windsor, 10 a.m. to 12 p.m.

Portuguese: St. Michael's Church, 29 Elliott Street, Leamington, 3 p.m. to 5 p.m.

Spanish: Holy Names Catholic High School, 1400 Northwood Street, Windsor, 10 a.m. to 12 p.m.

Vietnamese: Holy Names Catholic High School, 1400 Northwood Street, Windsor, 10 a.m. to 12 p.m.

International Languages Program (ILP) - Evening credit courses

Italian - Sept. 27 - Jan 19

Classes run Tuesday nights(in person) at the Ciociaro Club in Windsor and Thursday nights virtually from 6 pm- 9:15 pm.

Credits valid toward Ontario Secondary School Diploma.

Polish - Oct. 13 - June 8

Classes run Tuesday nights(in person) at St. Angela Catholic Elementary School from 6 pm- 9:15 pm.

Credits valid toward Ontario Secondary School Diploma.
