Today Ontario Premier Doug Ford announced a new three-step roadmap to safely reopen the province, however he indicated there is still no consensus among science and health experts about whether it is safe to reopen schools for in-person learning.
This means that for the time being, virtual online learning will continue.

According to the news release, the provincial government will continue to assess data and consult with medical experts, including the Chief Medical Officer of Health and other health experts to determine if it may be safe to return to in-person learning.
Once again, we want to sincerely thank all of our staff who have worked so hard to continue to provide support to our students and their families through these challenging times. We also want to thank parents and guardians for their continued patience and understanding.
We remain committed to providing information to our school communities in a timely manner and as it becomes available.
In closing, please stay safe, get vaccinated if you can, and continue to follow all public health guidelines to prevent further spread of COVID-19.
