Board determining device requirements

Under the current pandemic conditions, there MAY be situations in which cohorts of students could be instructed by the local public health unit to isolate at home and not attend school.

In the event that we may need to dismiss a cohort of students, we would like to be certain they can transition seamlessly into virtual online learning at home.

In order to do that, we’d like to get a sense of how many students might require devices in order to continue learning at home (by “device,” we are referring to tablets, laptops, or desktop computers; smartphones are not ideal for online learning).

Please keep in mind that this survey is based on need. We do have limits on the number of devices we are able to provide. If you currently have working devices in your home, we would appreciate you not filling out this survey so that those with the greatest needs can continue their learning.
