From a wonderful Together in Faith Day celebration in September to kick off the school year to a recent announcement that we have a new home to replace Catholic Central High School, the 2018-19 school year has been one of positive momentum and continuous improvement, according to Director of Education Terry Lyons.
“I couldn’t be happier with how our year has gone, and we’re going to continue to strive to be better today than we were yesterday, and better tomorrow than we were today,” he said.
His sentiment is captured in a year-end video being posted to the WECDSB’s YouTube channel today.
In a series of short clips we’ve attempted to illustrate and showcase all of the wonderful things our staff, students and their families and their parishes have done together to make their schools, their communities and their world a better place.
The inspiring WE Day at the St. Clair Centre for the Arts, the successful launch of a new IB candidacy program at Christ the King, the graduation of first cohort of students from our Construction Academy, our high performing music students and robotics teams, our student athletes – these and so many other highlights are captured in this excellent new video.
