Students have two options to earn credits through cooperative education: 

• Co-op (1 credit)   July 2 – July 29th 

• Co-op (2 credit)  July 2– Aug 12th

Preference will be given to those students applying to the program for the following reasons: 

• Students in Grade 11 or 12 in credit deficit

• Students in Grade 12 requiring credits to graduate

• Students registered in the Specialist High Skills Major (SHSM) program

• Students registered in the Summer Company youth entrepreneurship program

• Students registered in the Focus on Youth summer program.  Enrollment will be limited!

Pre-Placement Classes will take place on  

JULY 2 AND 3, 2026 from 8:20 AM TO 2:50 PM

Work Placement:

Students must have a work placement prior to the start of the program

Expectations:

All students must have a work placement prior to the program start date.  Transportation to and from the placement is the responsibility of the student.  A student must attend on the first day or he/she will be removed from the program.  The maximum absence allowed is two days per credit.  Additional absences will result in removal from the program.  No exceptions will be considered.  All students are subject to the WECDSB Code of Conduct.  Failure to comply will result in removal from the program.
