Kindergarten registration period begins on February 16, and we’re hoping that you and your children will join our WECDSB family.

Choosing a school for your child is a big decision.

When you enrol your child in one of our Catholic schools you're joining a family that's going to be with you all the way. 

We do more than teach your child. Our staff work together to know every student, inspire their faith-filled journey, and empower students to become confident, caring, and responsible citizens.

Our Kindergarten Program is designed to give your child a stronger start in school and in life – by providing an engaging learning program that is based on a child's natural desire for play. 

Our program helps children: 

• develop socially and emotionally through their relationships with other children, and the educators who guide them;
• learn to think for themselves, understand their feelings and the feelings of those around them, recognize and respect differences in others and assess the consequences of their actions;
• think critically about ideas and information in literacy and math;
• solve problems and think creatively; and
• develop as a citizen through a sense of personal connectedness to various communities, like their class, their grade and their school.

So many of our students go on to achieve great things after finishing high school because they get a wonderful start in our kindergarten classrooms, and receive the academic, emotional and spiritual support they need right through until graduation. 

Our kindergarten registration period runs from Feb. 16-26, and our Virtual Open Houses at all schools are on Feb. 17 at 5 p.m.
