Students were asked...
“ What wisdom to you have to pass on to our community; or what issues do you believe need to be addressed today?”

They subsequently developed their ideas in visual form using symbol and metaphor.

For our project we worked with found objects and materials such as wood, metals, twine and paint because so much of these materials are seen both in traditional and contemporary African art.
