Regional School Councils

The Windsor-Essex Catholic District School Board has two active Regional School Councils; one secondary and one elementary. The Regional School Councils are Chaired by a parent; the membership includes parents, trustee and student trustee representatives, and a Superintendent of Education.

ABC 123

Provides parents with fun, everyday activities to engage their children in reading, writing, and mathematics. It also has information that will help parents partner with their child's teacher, deal with homework, identify the need for extra help, and understand school readiness.

Accessibility Standards for Customer Service

The Windsor-Essex Catholic District School Board is committed to providing access to its services for members of the public with disabilities. Services will be provided in a manner that reflects the key principles of independence, dignity, integration and equality of opportunity.

Accommodation Review Committees (ARC)

As required in the pupil accommodation review process, an Accommodation Review Committee (ARC) has been established for each group of schools, to study, report and make recommendations on the best accommodation options for maximizing educational opportunities for each group.

Priority Use Of Schools

The goal is to provide priority access and free after-school use in communities that need it most. Free use of school space will allow not-for-profit organizations the ability to offer affordable or no-cost programming.

Registered Disability Savings Plan (RDSP)

A registered disability savings plan (RDSP) is a savings plan that is intended to help parents and others save for the long-term financial security of a person who is eligible for the Disability Tax Credit.

Safe Schools

Our schools are safe, nurturing, positive and respectful learning environments that enable student to succeed and reach their full potential. Students are expected to demonstrate respect for human rights and social justice and promote the values they need to become responsible members of society.

St. Mary's Family Learning Centre

A progressive family-centred organization providing integrated support, learning and early identification / intervention services to advance the healthy development of families and their children (birth to six years) in Windsor-Essex County.

Substance Abuse

Resources created to provide parents with information around the prevention of substance use and dealing with a substance use problem.
