High School Council Mandate

The High School Council is an advisory body consisting of the eight (8) high school councils of the Windsor-Essex Catholic District School Board.

The Council shall adhere to the Board's principles, philosophy and goals of Catholic education.

The Council can provide advice to the Board and any individual high school council seeking advice on any matter a high school council is allowed by law to consider.

The Council is further bound by the by-laws and regulations of each of the eight (8) individual high school councils.

Elementary School Council Mandate

The Umbrella Committee of the Elementary Catholic School Councils provides parent representatives from our forty-one (41) elementary schools with the opportunity to come together, share ideas/best practices, and receive information from Board administration regarding Ministry and Board initiatives.

The Committee is an advisory body consisting of representation from the eight (8) "Families of Schools" in the Board.

The Committee shall adhere to the Board's principles, philosophy and goals of Catholic Education.

The Committee can provide advice to The Board (administration and trustees) and any individual elementary school council seeking advice on any matter an elementary school council is allowed by law to consider.

The Committee is further bound by the by-laws and regulations of each of the individual elementary school councils.
