University of Toronto National Book Award & Scholarship Program

Secondary school nominates one candidate; students may apply directly; special consideration and essay required. Excellence coupled with creativity; intellectual enthusiasm and involvement in school/ community.

Canadian Merit Scholarship Foundation (CMSF)

Secondary school students with a minimum average of 80%. Canadian citizen. Well rounded students who demonstrate character, promise of leadership and strong commitment to service in the community. Nominations are necessary from school.

Canadian Moorehead Award

Offered to students who show promise of exceptional value to the community. Students must apply to the university of North Carolina to be eligible for this award.

TD Canada Trust Community Scholarship

Scholarships are open to students across Canada who:

  • Are in their final year of high school
  • Have demonstrated outstanding community leadership
  • Possess the academic skills to successfully enter and complete college or university
  • Doing good for others during difficult times in one's own life requires particularly outstanding commitment. This is why, as part of the selection process, the personal circumstances of each applicant will be considered
