Entrance Awards based on Nomination from the school. The student must be applying to Guelph. Lincoln Alexander Chancellor's Scholarship is open to people who are of aboriginal origin, or a person with a disability, or a member of a visible minority.

Local women who are pre-university or pre-college aged 16-20 years old are eligible to apply. Local winners can move up to district winners and ulitmately internationally.

Ontario Heritage Trust Young Heritage Leaders Program

Youth under 18 who have made valuable contributions to local heritage preservation in their communities.

  • fundraising or research efforts to support the restoration of a heritage building
  • volunteer service at a museum, historical site, conservation area or parkland
  • developing exhibits, websites or publications about local history
  • participating in historical re-enactments
  • volunteer participation in activities or events that protect, preserve or promote First Nations, Métis or Franco-Ontarian heritage

The Miller Thomson Foundation
The Miller Thomson Foundation Scholarship encourages and promotes the attainment of higher education for individuals who have demonstrated a high level of academic achievement, have made a positive contribution to their school through involvement in extracurricular activities and have made significant contributions of time and energy to community service programmes.

The Miller Thomson Foundation National Scholarship Programme was established in 1995. As of June 2006, 1,750 scholarships totaling $1,750,000 will have been awarded nationally.

The Luciana Spring Mascarin Bursary Program

To encourage and support students with spina bifida and/or hydrocephalus to develop independance and responsibility for their own future educational directions and to assist students in their pursuit of higher education with the ultimate goal of obtaining a degree, graduate certificate or diploma. The program will offer assistance for such necessities as tuition, books, room and board, transportation and specialized equipment needs.

Open to Canadian citizens with spina bifida and/or hydrocephalus residing in the Windsor District (Essex and Chatham-Kent County).

Due date is March 31 each year

Number and amount of awards will be decided on a yearly basis.
