These events allow us to share the excitement of the Living Lab and the hospitality of St.Thomas of Villanova Secondary School with our surrounding community.

Grade Eight Visitations

Each year, Villanova invites students from our feeder schools for an all-day tour of our campus. One stop on the tour is the Villanova Living Lab. Students first hear an introduction given by either its creator, Mr. Cuckovic, or the head volunteer, Melissa Dumouchelle. Then students are allowed to look at the displays and pet or hold animals with the assitance of Mr. Cuckovic and Melissa. This year several students showed a very keen interest in the Lab, especially with the introduction of a new Destinations programme which will be offered to them beginning in September 2003. The Lab thanks all those who visited, and we hope to see many of you as new volunteers in the 2003-2004 school year!
